This city has a large number of facilities where residents and visitors alike can enjoy cultural events. The Alberta Bair theater plays host to various types of entertainment from concerts by bands and individual performers to speakers and comedians. The Billings Symphony orchestra and chorale presents its concerts series through the year and its annual free symphony concert in the park. The Yellowstone Art museum is continually rotating exhibitions from its permanent collection and from art on loan. However there are many other things to see in this city as well. At Zoo Montana you can get to see a large variety of animals from North America, Asia and such exotics as a Columbian Red-Tailed Boa constrictor and Whiteâs Tree frog. The Yellowstone County museum has over 23,000 cultural and historical artifacts. There is an old steam engine, carriages, Native American conveyances, beaded bags, clothing and moccasins, firearms, knives, a pioneer kitchen and a conestoga wagon. |
