This community named after the General William Lenoir, is without a doubt very blessed by a divine power which molded each tree, lake, and flower in this territory to achieve the perfect harmony you may appreciate in the recreational areas and interest points all over the county seat of Caldwell County located in the Blue Ridge foothills. A total land area of 16.5 square miles of extension, this is the home of more than 16700 inhabitants and 4570 families. This community is the proud birthplace of Claude Baker and it has been the home for several sports stars such as Larry Smith, who is a Nascar driver; and Charlie Cozart, who played in major league baseball back in the 1910s.
