Named after William A. Graham, it is home of 8075 people and birthplace of the country music star Ronnie Milsap. The territory of the "Tail of the Dragos" where only three lights are enough to monitor the traffic shares limits with Swain, Macon, Blount (TN), Monroe (TN), and Cherokee Counties.
