Created back in the 1750s, Rowan County has today an estimated population of 130350 residents and it is located adjacent to Davie, Stanly Iredell, Davidson, and Cabarrus Counties. Salisbury city, home of more than 26450 people is the county seat of eleven cities and fourteen townships constituting the list of communities in this territory of more than 520 square miles of extension including Kannapolis, Faith, Rockwell, Atwell, Spencer, China Grove, Morgan, and Unity.
