There are two types of entertainment you might want to attend in this city, one takes place once a year, the other is held from May through August. The annual Bottineau County fair take place in June. It has a full schedule of horse and livestock shows, ranch rodeo, Daryl’s Racing pigs, tractor show, Chili cook-off, demolition derby, live musical entertainment and plenty of food. For those who like to see vehicles go hurtling around and around there are the races at the Thunder Mountain Speedway held on Sunday nights from May though August. The vehicles are sport stock and Midwest mods with a whole range of cash awarded.
