The people here enjoy a reasonably good median household income, much better than the rest of North Dakota. The city's parks offer a place to relax in a peaceful atmosphere. Lincoln park has Park indoor and outdoor shelters, playground equipment, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, a softball field and BMX course. Millennium park features a walking path, Frisbee golf course and a gazeebo. Weigel park is a small facility with playground equipment, tetherball, a large cement pad and open grassy areas.
