Fargo is probably the largest city in North Dakota with a population close to 110,000 living in an area about 38 square miles in size. An interesting place to visit with the kids in Fargo is the museum that occupies the old house built in 1876, the Children's museum at Yunker Farm. This completely renovated red brick farm house houses over 50 hands-on exhibits. To further occupy and entertain the youngsters there's a miniature train, carousel, playground, pumpkin patch, nature trails, miniature golf course, wild flower meadow, children's alphabet garden, Butterfly garden and Pipi Longstockings playhouse. The Fargodome is the place where adults and sometimes children can find all kinds of entertainment. It is the scene of football and basketball games concerts by nationally known entertainers, monster jams, theatrical presentations and Disney shows. The Aquarium is another concert venue in Fargo. Go to Newman Outdoor field, home field of the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks minor league baseball team, if you want to catch a good ball game.
