The Meadowlark Arts Council along with its other activities, such as providing presentations by artists and poets, puts on concerts, dramatic performances, art exhibits and recitals at the renovated Dakota theater. The Divide County museum at Pioneer Village has on display pioneer artifacts and farm implements among its historic buildings including a post office, bank, dental office, church and school. Every third weekend in July the Threshing Bee is held at this site. Besides the thresher’s breakfasts each morning there are horse-drawn wagon rides, a working saw mill, old-time threshing and a toy tractor show. Other goodies served up at this event by the concessions on the village Main Street including the old time bakery. Crosby has a couple of facilities for recreational activities, the Crosby Skating arena and the Crosby Swim pool. a .
