Napoleon District Court is formally known as the Logan County District Court and is in the South Central judicial district of North Dakota.

About the area

Logan County was first formed at the beginning of 1873 but not officially authorized until the Fall of 1884. It was named for a Civil War veteran from Illinois who was a Congressman and United States Senator and also was the unsuccessful Republican candidate for Vice President in 1884. McKenna lake, to the East of the town, offers residents an opportunity to reel in some nice fish such as Northern Pike, Walleye and Perch. There is one baseball field and several softball fields in the town's ballfield complex.
