| About the area |
Mohall became the county seat of Renville at the time the county was founded. It came about its name in a strange way, named for a banker M. O. Hall who was instrumental in the founding of the town. The Millennium Courtyard Community center is the scene of community events but may also be rented for family or group events. The city maintains a municipal pool, ballfields and campgrounds. The sites are available on a first come first basis and all have water and electricity. There is also a new bathhouse here. The fairgrounds has a new canopy for shaded seating for those enjoying the music from the bandstand at one end.
