About the area |
There is a collection of historic buildings and artifacts at Heritage village in Grafton which represents the pioneer days in this area. Among the buildings you will find a furnished farmhouse, farm buildings, a country church, log cabin, depot with caboose, taxidermy shop and a working carousel. There is also Historic Elmwood a Victorian house, circa 1895, along Park river which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Grafton has several nice parks with many facilities including shelters, an outdoor skating rink, an area for skateboarders and tennis and basketball courts. There are locations in town maintained by the city of Grafton with ballfields, campgrounds and a swimming pool. |
