Dodge County Courthouse is the location for the county court and the district each which operates in their respective Sixth judicial district of Nebraska. US 30 and US 275 pass through Dodge county and meet US 77. SR 79, also running through the county, meets SR 91 in the Northwest corner.

About the area

Mid July feels like a gala in Freemont when the city celebrates its annual John C. Fremont Days Festival. The event has lots of fun things to do and enjoy. Starting with the parade, there's a rodeo, street dance and beer garden, auto and motorcycle show, Children's entertainment, a cookoff, antique and collectors, a food eating contest and a county 4H fair. The Louis E. May Historical museum is an interesting place to visit. It is housed in a Georgian or Classical Revival home and exhibits include a 1868 log house and recreated 19th century style rooms. The grounds are luscious and beautiful enough to have been designated as a Nebraska Arboretum site and the home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
