Keith County Courthouse is the place to look for the county court(Box 358) and the district court (Room 202) Each of them is part of their respective Eleventh Judicial district of Nebraska. Among IS 80, US 26, SR 61 and SR 92 you can find some pretty good roads to use in Keith county.

About the area

To find natural white sand beaches, fishing, boating, camping and all types of outdoor recreation you need travel only a few miles Northeast of Ogallala to Lake McConaughy State Recreation area. The city has ten parks in addition to indoor and outdoor pools. The the annual Ogallala Round-Up rodeo held in August during the Keith County fair provides some exciting entertainment. In addition to the Ogallala Post Office, the Mansion on the Hill and the Little Keystone church which are also listed on the National Register of Historic places the 1922 Spruce Street Standard Oil station, through renovation efforts, still remains. For a touch of the macabre you can tour the city's Boot Hill with its tombstone history of the town which during one ten year span on the Texas Trail had more violent deaths than Dodge City, Kansas.
