The county court and the district court are both located in the Logan County courthouse and each is in their respective judicial district of Nebraska. About the only major roads in Logan county are US 83 and SR 92 which meet in Stapleton. |
| About the area |
The first settlers came to Logan county around 1884 and one year later the county was established. The county seat which was first placed in Logan was moved to Gandy and then Stapleton. Not until around 1911 was a branch line of the Union Pacific railroad run to Stapleton. The annual Logan County fair and rodeo is held each from the middle of July to the end of August in this town with many exciting events and competitions. |
