If you are looking for the county court and district court (Box 338), which are both in the Fifth judicial districts of Nebraska. SR 22 meets with SR 14 as it passes from the Northern border to the Southern border of Nance county. SR 39 and SR 63A are located in the extreme Northeast corner of the county.

The Pawnee nation were the inhabitants of rolling prairie lands along the Loup River. Mormons were the first settlers to come to the area around 1855 and established a community of about 100 families at what is now Genoa. However peace between the Pawnee and this group did not last very long and the danger from conflicts drove the Mormons from the area. About 12 years later a cattleman drove his herd of cattle through the area and taking advantage of the distribution of the reservation lands, purchased two sections and laid out the town of Fullerton on them. Some of the best hunting and agricultural land in Nebraska is located where SR 14 and Sr 22 meet just to the North of Fullerton. The newest sports facility in town is the Pedee Hosler Memorial track Another recently completed project is the Nance County Veterans memorial. Both of these were constructed by volunteers from the area. Fullerton City Park, which has a sand volleyball court, a picnic area, grills, a walking path and new playground equipment, is where the annual Twin River Cruisers Car show is held in June.
