About the area
Plymouth is a great place to vacation all four seasons of the year. The Pemigewasset and Baker Rivers converge here. Famous residents were Mary Baker Eddy, religious leader; Robert Frost, poet; and Daniel Webster. In 1806 when Webster was a lawyer, he lost his first criminal case at the Plymouth Courthouse, which is now the Historical Society.
