Bergenfield is a completely self-sufficient Borough located just 15 miles away from Manhattan, NY. It has shopping centers, medical facilities, an excellent public library and numerous centers for recreation and relaxation. Knickerbocker Country Club, Van Saun Country Park, White Beeches Golf and Country Club all lie with a mile's distance of the Bergenfield Municipal Court ! The town has recently formed a 'Museum Society' which aspires to showcase Bergenfield's rich history. The town also has excellent facilities for the 'golden age' residents - it's senior citizens. The town offers free transportation for seniors to shopping malls, hospitals and other places around. There is even a free bus-ride to the library for seniors.
