Florence township is home to nearly 11,000 people. Some parts of the township are still very rural and sparsely populated. Other parts are very well developed and house commercial businesses and shopping centers. The commercial places are easily accessible from NJ Turnpike and US Rt 130 that border the township. Haines Industrial Center, a 700-acre business complex is in Florence township. Rivers Edge Park is just a few thousand feet from the Courthouse area.
