Mt Holly Township is home to nearly 10800 people and is zoned an UEZ (Urban Enterprise Zone) to facilitate economic development in the region. There are a string of parks right next to the courthouse area - Mill Dam Park, IronWorks Park etc. In fact, these parks extend till Smithville. Mt Holly is home to the state-of-the-art Virtual Memorial Hospital. Lumberton Plaza in Lumberton is a 3-minute drive from the courthouse. County Routes 541 and 621 traverse the township.
