About the area

This tiny little borough has a population of less than 600 people and has County routes 607 and 626 pass through it. It is said that the first settlers were immigrants who sought refuge in Shiloh to be free of religious persecution. Many historic buildings, some that were built in mid 1700s stand witness to it's rich history. DeCou's Farm Market, which is around 3 miles away from the Courthouse on Shiloh Pike (Route 49) is famous for it's locally grown apples and peaches. Quiet a few people from the neighboring towns shop for their produce from Decous.
