Union City is the most densely populated city in the United States with a population of 67,000 people in an read of 1.27 square miles. It is an 'Urban Enterprise Zone' and avails of Sales Tax Cuts, an initiative taken by the state of NJ for the betterment of this city. Spectacular views of a nearby skyline from the tall buildings in Union City. After 9/11 many residents watched the disaster from the top floors of their buildings. The City Boxing Club has a piece of the wreckage from 9/11 in the courtyard, in memory of those who lost their lives on that day. The city has a diverse community with the Hispanic community being the dominant group (about 80% of the population). The city has some nice places that one can visit. The Roosevelt Stadium which is a sporting arena, the Celia Cruz Park are places one can see upon visit to the city. The city also has a good public library near New York Avenue, plus some places of worship and a veterinary hospital. The nearest hospital for humans is in nearby Jersey City.
