With the Turnpike, I-287, and a bunch of people living here, Edison Traffic Court and the criminal part can get quite busy, but that may be why they have so many prosecutors and judges. |

About the area |
Edison township is home to nearly 100,000 residents. Just recently, it was ranked as one of the safest cities to live in the United States. Also, it often features in the \'Most Livable Cities in the United States\' list. The township was named after the great scientist Thomas Edison. Edison has a very diverse population, and has a high number of Asian Americans. The Municipal Court is located just off of Rt 27 and is adjacent to the Edison Square which has an array of shopping centers, hotels, parks and strip malls. Ford Motor Company has an assembly plant in Edison. Edison is well-served by NJ Transit and is home to many NYC-office goers who take the subway. I-287, US Rt 1 and Routes 27 and 440 serve Edison. |
