| About the area |
Butler has a population of about 7500. It is believed that the borough got its name in 1881. Named after Richard Butler, a businessman who lived in the region. One of the very few municipalities that has its own private water company. Butler Reservoir, West Fayson Lake and South Fayson Lake are nearby. I-287 is about a couple of miles away.
