The borough hall, the post office, banks, grocery stores are all within walking distance from each other. One can survive without a car unless you want to go somewhere else. The borough is home to Short Hills Mall and CommonWealth Water Co Reservoir. Canoe Brook Country Club is nearby too. The borough library was built in 1908 and completes 100 years in 2008!
