Hanover Township has a population of around 13,000 people living in the sections of Whippany and Cedar Knolls. Whippany houses the Hanover Municipal Court and the rest of the government, and is in the vicinity of the scenic Lake Parsippany. Morristown Municipal Airport and the historic Whippany Railway Museum are in Hanover too. Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown is the nearest hospital and is about 3 miles away from the heart of Hanover. Hanover is also home to Morris County Library. I-287 and Rt 10 pass through the township. Lucent Technologies is big here. And watch out for Bee Meadow Park - you may not want to get stung.
