Netcong Borough lies along the Musconetcong Lake, both the lake and the borough get their name from the Native Indian language. The borough is fairly small, it has a population of about 3300. Main Street is the major thoroughfare through the borough, it houses an array of home-grown businesses. US Rt 46, US Rt 206, I-80 and Routes 183 and 631 pass through the borough.
