Aug 19 2011 03:15:50: I wish I could report the behavior of some of the empoyees at the clifton courts. Unprofessional, rude, and they seem unhappy. Frankly, they should get a job that doesn't deal directly with the public.
Aug 19 2011 01:27:30: Hi I have been dealing with a ticket from afar and first off, getting someone to answer the phone at the court is quite impossible. I have the cell phone bill to prove the amount of times I called, and how long I have waited. Once I got in touch with someone, the first time, I had hope. However, when it came to following up with the situation, things were EXTREMELY frustrating. I had to deal with an older woman who seems unhappy to work in the courts, and who wouldn't listen or hear me out. She chose to ask questions I couldn't answer, like who I had spoken with before because there were no "records" of me calling. Funny because they are not allowed to give out names, so how am I to know who I spoke with? Really sad, and frustrating unhappy place to call. I feel badly for the one or two nice employees who work in the court office.
Jun 18 2011 00:23:08: The wait time to speak with someone at 973-470-5860 regarding a ticket I got in the mail is verrrryyy long. Well over a half hour now. Guess I'll hang up and try again later and hope not to be on hold so long.
Apr 19 2011 03:13:41: Court representative are extremely rude and impolite. I received a "Failure to appear notice" in the mail, after never receiving the ticket I reportedly was issued. There were unaccommodating when I called to receive proof of my ticket and hung up on me several times. I am extremely annoyed as I live 1 1/2 hrs from Clifton, NJ and it is not possible for me to stop in during their hours of operation. Please fix your system for better customer service. You will now the the $60 I apparently owe you for an offense I am unawar of. How is that just?
Mar 26 2011 04:11:06: The courtroom has no heat and everybody had a coat on, sitting down, when I was there. The 4 hour session should have been postponed or moved to another room in the complex out of respect for the litigants and courtroom employees.

Jan 01 2010 02:02:53: A detective stopped by my apartment few days ago and was looking for me to fulfill an arrest warrant. But there was a mis communication and his information wasn't updated stating I have fulfilled this warrant and paid all dues. Can you imagine what I had to go through if that detective have arrested me, I'm still suspicious why he didn't he double check his records. His name is Detective Hartless. Fortunately, the representative from the court I spoke with walked across and updated his files accordingly. I thank you for the woman who helped me. Thank you again.
Oct 11 2009 12:46:57: I am a clifton resident and very disappointed on how a police officer gave me a parking ticket when I wasn't even parked! Instead of issuing me the ticket or telling me he sent it in the mail. My tax dollars goes to paying police officers salaries and instead of "serving the people" they try to drain people's pockets with bogus tickets. There is so much racism in Clifton! I truly regret buying a house here.
