About the area |
The tiny town of Elsinboro is on the NJ-Delaware border has has about 1100 residents. County routes 625, 624, 637 pass through Elsinboro. Routes 49 and 665 are other major routes in the vicinity. Elsinboro township is home to the Salem Country Club which has a number of parks and has facilities for hiking, skiing, horseback riding and other activities. Other places to see include Oakwood beach and Fort Elfsborg which was built in 1643. |
