Roundhouse Memorial park is the site of the Raton Regional Aquatic center a year round indoor aquatic recreation and fitness facility. The pool has just about everything you can think of or want; a climbing wall, a 360 foot long enclosed tube slide, a vortex pool, water basketball hoops, a kiddie pool and different kinds of bubblers, jets and fountains. Visit Sugarite Canyon State park and you will see historic coal camps and lots of butterflies. Its two scenic lakes are great for fishing, camping or just taking in the beautiful scenery. |
