About the area |
The Village of Hatch museum has on display over four hundred items due to the generosity of the people who live in this valley who donated many of the items. Among the memorabilia from school days, old school pictures, a collection of annuals and trophies you will even find an old pair of ice tongs and a dress worn to the Inaugural Ball for President Garfield in 1881. At one of the eateries in town you will find a collection of giant fiberglass statues including Uncle Sam, A&W Mama and Papa Burger statues, a giant pig, chicken and Ronald McDonald. Colonel Sanders sits on a bench in front of the establishment. Standing elsewhere in town stands one of the so called giant Muffler Men fiberglass statues seen throughout the United States. |
