Throughout the Town of Silver City students and artists have worked to create a series of outdoor murals, of ceramics, mosaics, paint and cement, depicting the history, daily life and activities of the town. Some of the places you will find these murals at are the Glenwood Community center, the Gila library, the the old Coca Cola bottling plant, the heart of Silver Cityâs Arts and Cultural district and Silver City Skate park. The restored Mansard/Italianate H.B Ailman house, circa 1881, is now the home of the Silver City museum. The museum has an amazing close to 20,000 objects in its collection which relate to the history and the peoples who were part of the history of the area. |
