J.N. Carson arrived here in 1908 and started the town with a store, post office and his home and named it for his daughter. 5,500 people lived n Eunice in the 1930's due to work in the nearby oil field. Now with a population of about 3,000, there are lots of businesses, a lumber yeard, library, youth center, golf course and aquatic facility |
