Rio Arriba County Court is the First district court of Rio Arriba county in the judicial system of New Mexico.

About the area

The area is believed to have been inhabited for 5,000 years. Navahos raided Spanish settlements along the Rio Grande. Tierra Amarilla is the County Seat. It is a small town near Carson National Forest. The courthouse, built in 1907, is of neoclassical design by isaac Rapp and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Highways 84 and 64 will bring you here.
