The fairly new Moriarty Civic center has a convention hall which can also accommodate banquets. In addition the center has a number of smaller meeting rooms. With lots and lots of pinto beans grown on the farms surrounding this city it is not surprising that they hold an annual Pinto Bean fiesta in October. In addition to its parade the fiesta has a Car show, Chili and Bean cook-off and Horseshoe tournament.
