Lake Lahontan and the Sand Mountain of Fallon have plenty of outdoor recreational activities to offer. Fallon is an agricultural town and also has an ancient twist to it. Witness the Petroglyphs at the Grimes Point. These are carvings found on rock and are almost 8000 years old or more. Of course you need to trek there.
