Town court is in the Town Hall. One of the local judges assisted a local independent film company in making a fine feature. A key scene was shot in the courtroom, but the guy playing the prosecutor was a terrible actor.

About the area

Stuvesant is a picturesque, agricultural community nestled in the Hudson Valley. Stuyvesant Falls is a beautiful two-step natural waterfall along the Kinderhook Creek. The town has a fairly long stretch of Hudson River coastline, and Route 9J runs the length of the town. Route 9 catches the southeast corner of this town that lies in the northwest corner of the county.

Hours of Operation

Court is in session Wednesdays at 6pm. The DA is available in court on the 1st Wed of the month at 5pm.
