Most of Caroga's crimes come from sportsmen and tourists, and also from speeders on Routes 10 and 29.
Besides the Caroga Lakes, there is Canada Lake and a ton of smaller lakes and ponds in the town, but the Carogas are considered by most to be the nicest.
The town hall is located on Route 10, about 1 mile north of the lakes.

Caroga Lake, which the town is named after, is actually two lakes connected by Caroga Creek. East and West Caroga Lake are picturesque, and very popular with boaters and fishermen in summer, and ice fishers and snomobilers in winter. The town is also great for campers, hikers, and skiers (both downhill and cross-country)
