Jan 13 2010 00:10:12: Be Very Care full of this place. They know how to harass you! They accused me of a DWI, and all sorts of stuff. In the end i was innocent...PROVEN INNOCENT |
Mar 11 2008 01:24:45: Careful. This is a small, small town. As a matter of fact I think the judge, the administrative people, and even the lawyers do this as a part-time hobby. They, in some cases actually charge you more for the processing of the ticket, then they do for the ticket itself! And they will not let you send a check! Has to be certified check or money order! Can you spell "embezzlement"
[Editor's Note: Many town courts in NY are part-time. This is not unusual. Also, most courts require certified check or money order. Also, my guess is that if the surcharge was higher than the fine, the Judge was nice in only assessing a low fine. The surcharge is mandatory. This does not sound like embezzlement.] |
