About the area

Richfield Springs name is derived from some local sulfur springs. It holds a population of 1,200 or so. The Village borders on Canadarago Lake. Sunset Hill is where Cyrus McCormick from Chicago New York architectural firm of McKim, Mead, and White built a shingle-style "cottage" for his family on the edge of the village.

Nov 08 2009 00:20:23: We had a fixit ticket for a brakelight and mailed it in July 7 - Please let us know if this was lost! 7/2/09 was the date, A00600C4LQ was the ticket number. We had an offiicer certify the fix in Michigan, and mailed the ticket 7/9. Please contact us - we have a "failure to comply" noticel.
