Just west of Massena along the St. Lawrence River. Nice area near the Grasse River by the St. Lawrence River Drainage Basin. Pine forests and quarries are places that people find work. Lumber and stone are shipped to different areas of the Northeast. Many truckers find themselves along the Quebec and New York City corridor where they sell many items to large corporations. This provides some stable work for the area. Other places to work might be found in the Massena area not far from Louisville. Hard labor is sometimes part of the work in the North Country. Not far from the Canadian border either, they also celebrate French Canadian traditions.
