Name of the town means "Black Water" in English and there is also a lake called Black Lake. Many avid fisherman and hunters seek out this area for its native brook trout and white tail deer. There are several camping areas, motels, and hotels to accomodate everyone. Lots of good food and restaurants too! This is a fantastic get-away from the city. Come visit the North Country!
