The Village is located in the town of Greenburgh and is adjacent to the Hudson River and Tappan Zee Bridge. Its prime "ticket" territory with over 6 major traffic arteries either running through the town or around it including: I-87 (NYS Thruway), Rte 9, Cross Westchester Expwy, SprainBrook, Saw Mill, and Taconic Parkways.
The noble court clerk gets no lunch break.
About the area
The Village of Tarrytown is the home of Washington Irving and the setting of many of his short stories, most notably "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", which is considered North Tarrytown, and has its own town government. Tarrytown is also known as the "Millionaire's Colony" because many magnates of industry built spectacular mansions and castles here, including John Rockefeller and Robber Baron Jay Gould.
