The investigation revealed how many authorities of the town were over spending the resources received; this situation created the dire financial numbers of the Highway Fund and unrealiability of the accounting records.

Rising on the center of the county and established back in the 1820s, formed by ancestries mostly middle Europeans, this versatile mixture contributed to the actual race presence on this land of more than 95% of Non-Hispanic population. Home of the Camp O'Ryan opened back on 1950's was used for 24 years as the New York National Guard training area. After this period of time the area was used by other agencies till about 2 decades ago.
