The most famous landmark of Lima is the Allen County Historical museum located at 620 Market Street. The museum does not only walk you through the colorful past of Allen County it also houses the famous MacDonnell House which is actually a log cabin and a railway exhibit. The specialty of MacDonnell house is that it is one of the very few remaining Victorian structures and the area was once ear marked as the Gold Block because of its architectural beauty. Modern Lima includes a wide range of shopping malls and even specialized boutiques to suit individual tastes. For on the edge of the seat thrills visit the Lima speedway and motor sports park. Lima also is a part of the park country and you have lots of bike trails and lakes to spend your days. While in Lima do not miss the canal and the postal museum.
