About the area

With a population of 1300 inhabitants and less than 1 square mile of territory, this small village of Clinton County has been a country community home of about 330 families. Very well preserved homes and farms constitute the panorama of this area, where many mercantile stores and professionals made their home since its beginnings. Several families experienced along the changes in this community over time, such as the Coats, Moorman, and Terrell families.
