Columbiana is has lots of barren land and spotted with field here and there. It is not a very populated county as per demographics of the state and within the population the African-American population is more. Columbiana was named to Honor Christopher Columbus. During the Civil war Columbiana was the crux of the war zone. But today in modern times it is some say it is the boring countryside. Sort of on the way between Youngstown and Pittsburgh.
