This municipality is member of the Mansfield-Bucyrus Combined Area, it's one of the top 5 largest cities in Crawford County. When the route between Shelby and Galion became part of the Ohio maps back in the 1850's, this territory started its incorporation history. The first commerce drop fell in this land with a simple store and some houses; the settlement process was slow but firm. Today more than 5000 residents write the history of this "train lover city".
