This "city of stone" is home of the Wagnalls Foundation, which was made by the people of Lithopolis. A real historical treasure and an outstanding construction made Wagnalls the most relevant tourist point of this community in Fairfield County. German and Irish influences are still alive in the small stores and antique shops located in this village. The Honeyfest attracts hundreds into learning and experiencing the techniques and abilities required for practicing apiculture. Might have something to do with buzzy insects. |
