About the area |
The waters from the Hockhocking River gave so many blessings to the first settlers back in the 1800's, that became the inspiration after the name of this territory. The branches of the trees in Hocking Hills State Park wave graciously, dancing with the wind and whispering to its visitors about the delicate nature living in their surroundings. Silent voices of the Delaware Indians are still alive in this surface, the "bottle river" is still breathing. |
