The incorporation of this village took place back in the early years of the 20th century. Almost 250 families have made this lovely community their home. In the early 1800's, a fertile land and rich coal mines were not easy to resist; many businesses relocated to this zone and the commerce growth brought great schools, homes and tourism to Adena.
